🔥 The Story Behind Warehouse Sessions
Sometimes you don’t choose how an album gets made — the album chooses you.
After settling into a lineup that finally felt right, we realized something huge:
Our strongest moments weren’t happening in the studio… they were happening in the room.
Most of our songs start the same way — the five of us piled into Carrie’s place or tucked inside the warehouse, chasing ideas until they become something real. That’s where the heartbeat of this band lives. The laughter, the bad jokes, the half-ideas that turn into full songs, the moments we look around and know a new track is being born.
When it came time to record Warehouse Sessions, it made sense to start where the music had been growing all along: in the warehouse.
We tracked the early versions there — raw scratch takes, late-night vocals, guitars buzzing through cheap amps, all the imperfections and magic that only happen in a space like that.
Then life did what life does: we had a lineup change.
And right in the middle of that transition, an incredible opportunity opened up — access to a real studio. New space, new sound, new energy.
So we took what we built in the warehouse — those scratch tracks, that foundation — and carried it into the studio to finish the record. The studio gave the songs clarity, but the warehouse gave them their soul. Even now, the warehouse remains our anchor.
It’s where we still rehearse, where ideas keep forming, and where this album truly began.
If this album feels alive…
It’s because it is.
